PIEBASE SPATIAL DATA PLATFORM

A controlled PostgreSQL delivery for spatial data

PieBase packages offline installation, database operations, connection pooling, backup, monitoring, and spatial-extension validation into a repeatable delivery process. It is designed for environments where deployment control and clear acceptance evidence matter.

Current delivery scope

The current product centers on a single-node spatial PostgreSQL delivery. Supported versions and operating-system requirements follow the product documentation and are confirmed again in the project proposal.

AreaIncluded capability
DeploymentControlled offline installation and initialization
DatabaseCreation, status, connection, and access-rule management
Connection poolPgBouncer endpoint and configuration validation
Backup and tasksBackup records, task progress, and operational history
MonitoringDatabase, node, and connection-pool indicators
Spatial supportInstallation and deterministic validation of agreed extensions

From assessment to acceptance

01Environment check

Confirm OS, network, storage, database scale, and offline constraints.

02Scope confirmation

Fix the supported versions, components, migration boundary, and acceptance items.

03Deployment

Install, configure, validate, and retain the required delivery records.

04Handover

Provide agreed documentation, training, and support arrangements.

What requires separate assessment

  • High availability, multi-node clusters, or cross-region disaster recovery
  • Existing database migration and application compatibility changes
  • Large-volume performance tuning and unusual storage topology
  • Custom monitoring, security, or third-party platform integrations
  • Support for versions and operating systems outside the documented baseline

These requirements are not implied by the standard product description. They are evaluated and quoted after the target environment is understood.
